What are the benefits of using Azure VMs?

What are the benefits of using Azure VMs for my Business on the Gold Coast
What are the benefits of using Azure VMs or more to the point, what are Azure VMs and how will they benefit your business?

Well you have arrived at the right place if you are looking at learning how Microsoft Azure and more specifically Microsoft Office 365 can help your business’s future, saving you time and money on the way.

We all could use a bit of savings in both of those departments can’t we? Now onto learning.

Cloud technology is the future – it is an open secret and the reason why all organisations, no matter how small or how big, are moving to cloud technology by using services like Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.

Cloud technology and services like Office 365 and Azure offer benefits and features that were previously not possible with on-premise machines and networks.

One of these features or benefits is Azure VMs, also known as Azure Virtual Machines.

These smart virtual machines allow users to create and run their own VMs, based on their choice of operating system, language, and of course, workload.

Why would you choose Azure vs On-Premise?

Why would you choose Azure vs On-Premise

In a world where following the herd is often the standard operating procedure, many businesses are switching to a cloud-based system like Microsoft Azure for only one reason – everyone else is doing it.

So why would you choose Azure over On-Premise?

We understand that cloud-based services like Azure are the new black, but this does not mean you should go ahead and jump to a new technology without learning about it. There must be some reasonable explanation to choose Azure cloud-based services and the like. So businesses must look into how Azure syncs with the business needs and work style and then make the choice.

This is what we believe in at Greendata – to educate our clients about the latest technology and to help them make a decision that best fits their needs.

New technology is often a key factor in the success of businesses but only if it is assessed meaningfully before implementation.

In this article, we have compared Microsoft Azure and on-premise. We will try to provide our readers with a logical explanation why Azure can make a good fit for their business and how it works best for you.

To begin with, businesses now have multiple options when it comes to CRM and data centers. You have an option to work with on-premise, cloud or even hybrid system (a combo of both cloud and on-premise). It all depends on your business needs, your work culture and, of course, your business style.

So let’s explore the options you have.

Why does my business need Yammer?

Why does my business need Yammer Office 365

“Why does my business need Yammer?”, it’s a question we get asked a lot at Greendata along with “Where did they come up with that name?”. So we thought we better let you know what Yammer does and how it can help you and your business.

Yammer was an instant success when it was launched in 2008 because of its unique concept – a social networking platform that works within business only. By the end of 2010, Yammer was used by 80% of Fortune 500 companies.

Overall, within 2 years of its launch, Yammer was used by more than 80 thousand businesses of all different sizes, from small through to large corporations. It was often described as “Facebook for the Enterprise”.

In 2012, Yammer was bought by Microsoft for $1.2 billion and then integrated within the Office 365 suite. The social networking service that was designed for private communication within an organisation was initially popular amongst only large enterprises. But after the integration with the Office 365 suite, it became equally effective and accessible for small and medium businesses as well.
